No, it doesn't. Most antenna tuners on the newer rigs, with the exception of the older Kenwood TS-850, can't handle huge SWR variations that you can handle with an external tuner. They might be able to handle 4:1 or so SWR's, but not much more than that because they have small caps and probably a limited selection of fixed coil values. Because of this, depending on the antenna load your facing, it may not be able to give you a good SWR match. Obviously, if you are tuning a dipole cut for that band, or a decent multi-band antenna like the G5RV, it will work fine.
