Mine runs about that far from my vertical and the vertical was there before the dipole, I can't say I noticed any difference at all. In fact mine might be closer, more like 3 feet. As long as they don't touch, where the dipole is horizontal and vertical is, well, vertical, it shouldn't be any problem.
