Saikou, You certainly spoke for me and many others. I undertand that the "Jalis" (griots) have to praise-sing to sustain business, in the case of our long timers dragging their feet in the name of patriotism and neutrality . There is no such thing as neutrality in my view....you are either with us or with the terror regime. Even EverybodyMBye long since stopped the kind of nonsense after they belt him with "giving false information to a public officer." I must tell Mr. Oko that there is clearly something wrong with these regime's praise-singers, in the persons of Nana Grey, Ebrima Jawara, etc... First, for independent view point, why would a book author seek permission from Jammeh to publish? Second, if you are writing, you have to address the two sides----negative development as well. When this much damage has been done, only an idiot, (not even a fool) will try to tell Gambians that development took place, when the masses' rights are being abused. Third, for any that follows this regime, and believes that he/she loves the Gambia and its people, why would you work with this regime? Unfortunately like the ollofs will say, "Jammeh ak nyim andal nyep deng fail." It is a whole pack, and they all think alike. The ghost of the victims of this regime will continue to follow this regime and their deciples hiding in their corners from london to Washington, to Banjul. I am not saying much because that information ministry seat is very hot. He will be lucky if he ends up in mile two, the worst we've seen is disappearance without trace, because death is better than disapperance without trace. I will let time resolve this... I saw the old lion of Dankunku (Waa) is back ....certainly the kind of recycling tells any that the end is near. When that happens the very singers of this regime will start to tell us they were there to undermine this regime, or to get some nonsense..... my 2 cents Thanks Yero

I write to congratulate Nana Grey Johnson. I am happy for this appointment. This is a noble recognition. He is not an ordinary man next door. He has is an independent man and for years working on documents and achieves of Gambian treasures. He is like the stone in the ocean floor that rain water doesn't bother.
He has much to offer.
Time will tell.

He too will come down crumbling like a moss... another Gambian making the history books...
