This is an exceptionally sad Daily Observer story Mr. Kebbeh. The voices of the well wishers are tinged with sadness, a certain obsessive desire to please the president. This desire feels so biting that the well wishers just cannot help themselves. They bear witness to truths whose existence they doubt and make claims for the president the president would not make for himself. They ascertain things to have happened that never happened just to please the president. And the president knows it too. But being obsessively desirous of often fatouos doses of arcane praises, then sends these on to the Daily Observer for publication as More Messages for President Jammeh. Reminds one of more felicitations for Ndareh, where all the voices were happy.

Thanks for sharing Cherno.
