Haruna, glad you like the editorial..you may want to read it again because its got some red meat in it... It was a continuation of calls we have been making for almost two years.
See, I don't sit on the fence but rather likes to go with what is reasonable to an average Gambian... That is why despite the finger pointing no one can say I belong to their Camp. Am my own man and support or oppose where I see fit..
I guess I love the media so am going to stick with that for now... But remember am citizen first then everything else second..
Come election day, I will be at peace and ready to continue the work for a better Gambia... Apology always cuz no punt intended in the editorial..
Now go win the elections for us!!!!

A wonderful and timely editorial Yero. I agree with the editorial that the UDP received Hon. Fatty's, if premature, intent to strengthen their hands. To add to your brilliant editorial, had the UDP taken a pro-active approach with the GMC and comprehensively secured their grace, that in itself adds to their leverage in courting Hon. OJ and the PPP, Hon. Hamat and the NRP, and LASTLY, PDOIS. I say lastly PDOIS because among all the parties, the UDP's party Manifesto/platform, more readily resembles those of the PPP, GMC, and NRP than PDOIS' arcaine and discrete postulations. And if PDOIS still balks after UDP-PPP-GMC-NRP came to them united, they can go hell. GPDP does not feature in this sober conversation.
Haruna.
