Bro Haruna,

Demba's humor is around this: Both myself, Daffeh and Demba hardly agree on politics, especially the last NADD fiasco. We are old friends at the common Bantaba in cyberspace. We were all there beore coming to the Gambia l/post.  Demba is expressing his surprise over the new relationship in a joking way. What inspired me more to the UDP is the way that Darboe has handled things of late (Courtesy of Ted Kennedy), together with the fact that they wouldn't really give us one candidate against jammeh, and the one that commands more supporters of the two is Darboe without a doubt. If not for jammeh's advantage of the state resources he is using, it is not possible that he can defeat Darboe in any elections, especially if Hamat and his camp acts a hero bu asking his supporters to be weigh in for Darboe.

I don't know if you've listened to Demba's talk show of late, but he is more UDP than even you.

Go win Darboe!

Yero

Haruna, don't mind me, I had to put some humor to this one. My run away editor likes to have one leg in politics and another out!! I had to call him on this one cuz I know is going to come back and hunt him and I don't want to hear it!!!!

Ain't you scared though when you see strange bed fellows like Halifa and Bah?

Brother Demba,

You just had to jinx the celebration hadn't you???????????????????????????????

Life goes on in this world of ours but for the glimpses of hope and wanton love. And when the time of hate and war comes, the prior glimpses of hope and wanton love help to retard the flames and douse the embers.

Demba you scare me sometimes. I think I need to come get my little nieces and nephews from you. Are you in an eternal state of doubt my friend???? It can be paralyzing. The essence of life is war and peace. The trick is to use an abundance of one to truncate the other.

Men. You even got me down Demba. And that is no easy feat. Haruna.

Just to add, I also spoke with barrister Fatty on the phone earlier on this mourning when he was heading to Farafenni for a rally. He sends his regards and is hoping for a clear victory for the UDP. I admire his going home to participate in the campaign.

All of you should send your little written contributions and distribute around. Call your friends and family members and ask them to vote and vote for Darboe. With the mass participation, comes victory!

Once again, good luck to Darboe and the UDP! Long live the Gambia!!

Thanks for the forward Daffeh.

Dear Haruna et al,

Please keep up the momentum and don't ever loose focus on it. We are all Gambians first and that is what honestly matters. I wish Darboe who has the surest chance to remove Jammeh will certainly win this one. I do not need any acknowledgement from this piece. That would make me feel like an outsider. I heard Jammeh is not comfortable at all. Imagine if Hamat tells his supporters to add on their weight to Darboe, that certainly makes the maths to work. It is still not late till election day...go win Darboe!

Good luck to Darboe and the UDP!

Kind Regards,

Yero.

Thank you Daffeh for sharing the honourable Yero. He is an inspiration to all Gambia and he definitely has contributed more than his share toward a new and just Gambia. We must endeavour to earn his trust as a fellow citizen and I encourage UDP to send him an acknowledgement for this magnanimous gift.

Haruna.

Gambians Should Vote for Lawyer Darboe

Gambia’s presidential elections are slated for November 24th 2011. I just wanted to send my last minute appeal to all
Gambians regardless of their political affiliation, tribe or religion.

It is better that we dwell on the things that unite as Gambians than the things that will divide us. During the past six
years, I have been a supporter to the NADD formula and still believe that was the best on the table. Now that things didn’
t go in that direction, and given the circumstance, Hamat Bah should withdraw his candidature and convince his
supporters to rally behind Lawyer Darboe so we can finally send Yaya Jammeh packing.

Given the fact that Darboe has more followers and has taken second position in all the past elections, he is certainly in a
better position to defeat Jammeh than the Independent Candidate Hamat Bah.

On the above token, the Gambia is bigger than any of us. I appeal to all those that has been doing the politics of tribe to
desist from it completely. The politics of tribe has no place in our midst. It is one Gambia, one people!

While saluting all our opposition, media houses, and those concerned Gambians continually wishing Jammeh and his
pact to vanish once and for all, I also wanted to appeal to all to keep the peace. The Gambia belongs to all of us and we
all have equal stakes.

Vote and vote massively for Lawyer Darboe!

Sincerely,

Yero Dalton Jallow
