Mboge, during my short life in this world, I'velearned one thing about humans - they can create fantasy in their mind. Igrew up with and around folks who did everything you and I did or worse, andtoday they are the face of religion (Islam and Christianity) in the Gambia, andgive them another fifty years and you will see humans run around here to cryfor them to be made Saints (not that I care about that hierarchy nonsense). Ihave also seen some of the sons of the Religious Enterprise in Senegal, righthere in DC do everything, drinking being the least of their vices, and now haveTalibehs and humans Jaebaluh to them. So, let it be with Amadou. Majurma is notentitled to his own facts though. If he creates a fantasy that Amadou is hisGhandi, Mandela, or King, then no biggie, for it would be akin to Joe runningfor election and the only folks that voted for him is his compoundoccupants.

Majurma said the Good Amdou left "histeaching job" in the states to come to the Gambia to face the Resistance.Majurma, your statement is false. Amadou came to the Gambia to serve Yaya afterhe lost his teaching position (not that, that is a crime, and if he looked foranother he most probably could have landed one for that is the beauty of beingcredentialed). Jammeh looked attractive when Amadou was unemployed and greedtoo over. The same MO of most of the people from the diaspora that prostrated in front of Yaya - Sidi Sanneh, Omar fye (not even credentialed), Maafy, etc.

Again, Amadou being the consummate opportunist, thought he saw a shortcut to rise to the top. I have warned Gambians about oneor two person organizations. We have orgs. here that are a one person activityand our people know that, yet would pretend like there is a multitude behindthem. That is not only dishonest of the practitioner, but the people thatpeddle the pretence. CCG was just one such org, truth be told. In their hasteto get front seat, they forgot they were dealing with a tyrant and a murdererand their fantasy and greed took over. They thought there is a short-cut toTahir Square. If Amadou was the great liberator and had the masses behind him,how come that mass is silent? How come you, Majurma are not picking up hissword to march on, since you so believed in his Mesianic call? The bigger storyhere is not the Cyber Warriors (please do not mind them, they are a bunch ofloosers) but the absence of your mass that the Great One was leading to thePromised Land. Why are you betraying Your Dear Leader? This is the perfectopportunity for you and your group to upstage Yaya, as the South Africans didfor Mandela. Majurma, you know full well that this thingy is in your head.Again, you are entitled to your opinion and not your facts.

As for Amadou being an intellectual, well, giventhe loose application of the term, I say knock your sox off.

"In conclusion, for those intellectuals whosewould like to contribute their quota in the Gambia after Jammeh this isthe time we need you not when the freedom is won."

See what I mean about the race to the top and forthe loot. This same Amadou was here talking about Crime Inc.; then he changedhyde and praised the head of Crime Inc. and enrolled in the Syndicate; then theSyndicate turned on him and disgraced him; the Syndicate went further to labelhim a spy; the Syndicate knew something about his opportunism and kept an eyeon him; Amadou saw Tahir Square on TV and voila, saw a gig in the mix; startedrunning his mouth about starting something big and managed to recruit a coupleof unsuspecting folks. Now he is in the jaws of the beast, only for the fewrecruits to realize their's was a fantasy. The funny thing here is as seriousand dangerous as Amadou's condition is, CCG is dead silent. What stopped themfrom raising their voice? Planning, Planning, and more Planning, you ignore itto your own peril, especially when dealing with a dictator. CCG did not have amass anything and was reckless to sell that fantasy. When the murderer tookthem on their bluff, they are a no show. The worst thing you can do in theGhetto is to pretend you have a gun and badness behind you when you don't. Forin the heat of an argument and your opponent pulls out a piece, the game isover for you. The morale of the story is, if you are going to inform folks about Mass Support, you better make sure you have that and inculcate resistance withinyour ranks. I hope those that aspire to lead the people against the monster toknow that the first order of business is to build a base and be ready to set themon the monster. Why do you think even the politicians are afraid of going tothe streets? They do not have a grass-root base that will rise up with them. They twist that around to suggest they do not want blood in theirhands. No, the truth is they know if they stand up it will be just them, for they have no history of going to the streets, even when there was a massmurder of innocent students. Elections are approaching and the Murderer will doanything to stay on, however, utopians amongst us think Yaya will see Mohammedand let the people change him. This is after sixteen years of murder andmayhem. Gambians, we cannot pray or wish Yaya away, and the politicians will bewasting our time to continue to lull Gambians to sleep with CumbayaaPolitics.

Majurma, I now leave you with your crusade foryour Mandela. I am not going to sit here and wish for a fair trial under ourlaws, for that will not happen, like the many that preceded Amadou, in parade. However, the trial will be fair if your Mass Support show the monster a littlesomething - Make Gambia ungovernable and for the monster to fear his ownsafety. As long as he is comfortable, it will be business as usual. Your problem is you do not have a mass anything, thus, your Mandela will be abused like the rest.

Chei wonders. What Dr Amadou 'Scattred' Janneh 'face of resistance' to SHEPAD Jammeh's tyranny and the Beloved Smiling Coast's Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela aka Madiba.

Hope he gets a fair trial and eventually his freedom to continue his resistance and deliver the nation as Madiba illustrously deed by not succumbing to the criminal regime incarcerating him.

Dr. Amadou Janneh is the Nelson Mandela of The Gambia

Something happened. Something big happened that hadoutstanding effect on my life and the life of many young people
who are yearning for freedom. People who want to see change mostly lead and become the face of the movement,
probably the most striking illustrations i can give is MAHATMA GANDHI, MARTIN LUTHER KING AND NELSON
MANDELA. All these honorable men could have ignored the status quo at their time and they will live a comfortable life,
given their backgrounds but chose the contrast. So for me and a whole lot of young people, Professor Dr Amadou
Scattred Janneh is NELSON MANDELA OF THE GAMBIA.

He could have stayed in the United States with his teaching job and careless about what happened in the Gambia and
join the cyber warriors criticizing President Jammeh and his Government but he chose to be on the ground and be the
face of resistance. Therefore, if we can have ten intellectuals like him Jammeh will be out office within a month. What
Jammeh doesn't know is the more he continue to detain Dr. Janneh the more resistance movement will be on a
momentum. It will be like opening a Pandora box, one thing leads to next.

In conclusion, for those intellectuals whose would like to contribute their quota in the Gambia after Jammeh this is the
time we need you not when the freedom is won.

I shall continue in the future

MAJURMA TOURAY
