Alhaji Buwa Kinteh of Pakalinding village and retired chief of Jarra West District in the Lower River Region has written to the Gambia leader, His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh, thanking him for the numerous achievements his government registered over the years.

The letter reads:
It is indeed a great pleasure and deep sense of honour that I avail myself this great opportunity to felicitate you in particular and the Jammeh Kunda family in general. Words may never be enough to express my heartfelt gratitude to you. Your Excellency I am very much honoured to have worked under your dynamic leadership during the infancy days of your development oriented government.

Although, this may be my first time to congratulate you on all facets of nation building, I am strong supporter of the development agenda of your government, thus I am at the forefront of your party.

Sir, your numerous achievements in the political, social and economic development of The Gambia can never be emphasised, Gambians can never reward you enough as you have modernised this country from the day you took over the reigns of power, therefore I implore on all Gambians to rally behind you in other to build our dear mother land.

Finally as the presidential elections is just around the corner, I would like to seize this opportunity to call on all patriotic Gambians to come out in large numbers to cast their votes to this greatest pan-African leader.

Your Excellency may Allah the Almighty bless and guide you in all your endeavours as you recently celebrated your 46th birthday, I am wishing you good health and long live. I am optimistic that with the help of the Almighty Allah you will continue to rule this country beyond the imagination and expectation of your critics. The Gambia though a small country is a beacon of hope for humanity you have my support and prayers at all times.
