Wow! What a deal they've had out there. So glad for the news. We're continuing to pray.

The tests show she does have the bacterial form but the way I understand it, there are two types of the bacterial meningitis. What she has is not the more serious and contagious form. Yesterday, when she awakened, her headache was so severe, she had to get her 12 year old daughter to lead her down from their upstairs bedrooms because she had to keep her eyelids firmly closed because any light at all hurt even more. A neighbor friend took her to the hospital at 5:30 in the morning and within a couple of hours, they already were treating her. The doctor says she can come home whenever she decides, it's up to her, but she'll be on an IV of antibiotics at home. Her mother is flying out to be with her and the family. Her mother lives here in Denver; at least I think she still does. Anyhow, your prayers are still appreciated and we thank God it wasn't worse. then the CDC has to be contacted, and everyone with whom she had come in contact with has to be notified etc.

    Phil.
