I'm using a gateway laptop, running windows xp pro.

I have 2 situations with NVDA.

When I go into the preferences menu in NVDA, and I'm in the synthasizer preferences dialogue, I down arrow to sapi 5, then I tab to ok and press space bar, and I get this message, "synthasizer error dialogue, cannot load the sapi 5 synthasizer"

I know I have sapi 5 on my computer, but even narator doesn't even talk now when I hit windows key u.

The other situation with NVDA is this.  When I'm reading a web page, using the down arrow key, it doesn't stop and just read 1 link at a time.  Instead, it reads 3 or 4 links at a time.  How can I stop this from happening?
