Even though our cousins in Senegal are confronted with the same challenges like us, having their opposition leaders come together to challenge Wade in 2011. But, unlike us they are fully aware of the tactical advantages when it comes to showing up together on the same platform, and echo the message of “Dafa Doi”- enough is enough.

It is evident that even if our opposition parties in the Gambia will not challenge Jammeh under one ticket, it is to their individual party interests to strategize together and even campaign together to show every Gambians what is wrong with our country under Jammeh. There is indeed a need for the political parties to take chances and make moves that will give themselves a chance to be competitive.

Again, change will not come without something BOLD AND DIFFERENT.

Patiently waiting for the real leader to standup, and help us cross the Red Sea.

Musa Jeng
