"Innal lil lah, wah inna ehleihi raji'oon".

Bro Karim,

What a sad loss! Some of us are too young to remember the late Sanna's activism, but I recalled a few times where an elderly friend shared with me Sanna's ordeal then with the PPP Gov't. Knowing how powerful PPP must have been at the time and Sanna's action at the material time, he is really deserving of honor. I am surprised that the home media didn't cover his passing away.

As to death, it certainly doesn't have a friend. We must prepare our souls time and again. RIP!

I am glad to see your lines on Barrister Fatty, including of course my good brother Lad, and Wandifa from Dakar. I hold Fatty and the group you mentioned at the same height, though in real life, I only interacted with Galleh, and never met any of the others. With Baba, his literature over the years make me fall in love. Admittedly, I recall few times where I had a heated debate with Galleh over interpretation of his literature, or at least usage of the word "frustration." I am sure he still disagrees. I wish Fatty a faster recovery. Just like Baldeh argued in the editorial, I too think Mai is capable of being a great leader. That was honestly a spot on editorial!

Aluta continua!

Yero

Folks
It is sad to learned from Alieu Badara Sowe who went on a short visit to Gambia about the sudden death of Journalist Sana Manneh of the Former Torch Newspaper. Sana Manneh have played a positive role as an investigative Journalist to expose corruption of former PPP Ministers such as Saikou Sabally and others. The matter went to court preside over by Justice Wallace Grant. The court preceeding was also a test of rule of law under PPP regime. Sana Manneh pass away in the Gambia few months ago but none of the newspaper paid tribute to his timely death. It is indeed a sad news and may his soul rest in perfect peace.
