I tell you that these debates are not fun even though unavoidable at times. Please move on guys!
The topic around religion, tribe and race is very sensitive. If you are like me, you try to avoid it at all cost, because Gambia is a very small place. To kill this creeping Fernando requires not the digging of yams from the ground; it requires all of us to restrain our emotions at this time, and move on to more worthy things.
Personally, I don't know how much tribe (specifically being a Fula) helped me in achieving any of my goals in my life today, though I recognize being of the Fulbe. I am certain it is the same for each and every one of you.
I wrote this humorous piece before and I hope you will all find value in it…torture the devil, and we will all be at peace once again.
