Most of them have the nut and I think the T90A is one of them but I'c have to check for sure. I know after my experience getting my first one fixed, I'm not sure I'd even bother sending the current one in because fixing the first one I had was going to cost more than the new radio cost which is why I told them to just keep it. I'd hope for a loose connector that wouldn't be the case, but if I couldn't tighten it myself I don't know if I'd send it in for that. I do think with the T90A though it has one of those round nuts with the 2 slots I keep saying I need to get the tool for and never doing it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "colin McDonald" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Sunday, October 10, 2010 3:31 AM Subject: Re: Accessible ht > is there not a nut on the connecter that can be retightened like with the > older BNC connecters? > I know these sma connecters break quite often though. > probably easier and the same price or cheaper to buy a used t90 on ebay > rather to spend the couple hundred bucks to get the broken one fixed. > 73 > Colin, V A6BKX > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Albert Sanchez" <[log in to unmask]> > To: <[log in to unmask]> > Sent: Saturday, October 09, 2010 7:28 PM > Subject: Re: Accessible ht > > >> I've got a T90 with a loose antenna connector also so will be interested >> in >> repair location. >> 73, Albert, W A 7 F X B >> Greenville NC >> EchoLink node: 75240 >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "Don Risavy, Jr. NR4DR" <[log in to unmask]> >> To: <[log in to unmask]> >> Sent: Saturday, October 09, 2010 6:45 PM >> Subject: Accessible ht >> >> >>> Wondered which ht have any of you found to be the most accessible as am >>> looking for another one that is easy to access and also program via >>> computer. >>> >>> >>> >>> Also if anyone knows of where can get my IC-T90A repaired let me know as >>> looks like the antenna connector has become loose. >>> >>> >>> >>> Tnx cul 73 nr4dr >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>>
