On Sunday, October 10, from 3-6 p.m. , The Witness Project of Madison will host a breast health tea event to inform women about the life saving importance of early detection and mammography screening. Men are also welcome. The tea will be held at the Quality Inn, 2969 Cahill Dr., Madison. You will hear testimony from Dr. Gloria Ladson- Billings and other African American women breast cancer survivors. The tea is free, although seating is limited. Light snacks will be provided, with gospel performance by "Crowns" ensemble. The first 150 will receive an inspirational music cd and other gifts. All will receive information on breast health strategies.
