 Carnegie Hall presents Angelique this November with very special guests!

Carnegie Hall will present "The Sound of The Drum" on November 11th. In this very special concert, Angelique tells the journey of the drum through rhythms, songs, and dances from Africa to the Caribbean and on to America featuring special guest performances by Youssou N'Dour, Omara Portuondo and Dianne Reeves. Tickets are currently on sale on the Carnegie Hall website. This is a show that is not to be missed!

Angelique has also been nominated for the MOBO Awards for BEST AFRICAN ACT. This category is exclusively voted for by the public. From the 15 nominated artists, the 5 most voted for will be shortlisted as the MOBO Awards 2010 BEST AFRICAN nominees. The Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, established in 1996 by Kanya King MBE, are held annually in the United Kingdom to recognize artists of any race or nationality performing black music.
