This is a good idea on Hon Conde's part even as the Supreme Court deliberates on the first round of voting. I encourage Hon. Cellou Dalein Diallo to begin campaigning also if he has not already begun. This does not lessen the gravity of moment for the Supreme Court however. Any delay at the Supreme Court will undoubtedly adversely affect the second round of voting no matter how they decide. The reason is that Hon. Sidya Toure' commanded such a significant percentage of the La-Guinea population that their abstention from voting renders any second round result an exercise in futility for La-Guinea. They will be setting themselves up for an ungovernable "democracy", Which in the GDP's parlance, is an interventionist military government. This time however, it will have been a more sober and professionally trained military. In order to avoid this eventuality, the Supreme Court must first move the date for the second round of voting by at least 2 months (Sept. 18, 2010) and set about immediately to profusely mitigate all complaints lodged by Hon. Sidya TOure and the UFR. The Supreme Court is further encouraged to seek legal and logistical assistance from the UN to lend her decisions some much needed credibility. We want to honour the magnanimous patriotism of La-Guinea's citizens, at home and abroad, for their part in the conduct of historically free and fair elections. Therefore any crimes of theft, fraud, and gross irregularity that taints that history and maligns any future government in La-Guinea, must be profusely and credibly mitigated. Haruna for The GDP. Condé, qui a recueilli 20,67% des suffrages le 27 juin selon les résultats provisoires officiels, a par ailleurs affirmé que le scrutin avait été marqué par "une fraude gigantesque" et par des opérations de "sabotage" de la Commission électorale nationale indépendante (Céni). "Tout le monde sait que mon adversaire est le symbole du régime (du défunt général-président Lansana Conté, au pouvoir de 1984 à 2008, ndlr) qui a mis ce pays à genoux. Il a été 11 ans dans le gouvernement, donc il symbolise tout les mauvais côtés du système Conté", a lancé M. Condé, connu pour s'être opposé successivement aux dictatures d'Ahmed Sekou Touré puis de Lansana Conté. "Mon souci c´est de rassembler tous les Guinéens qui veulent le changement contre l´immobilisme et contre la gabégie", a ajouté le dirigeant de 73 ans, en invitant ses militants du Rassemblement pour le peuple de Guinée (RPG) à "rester calmes". Interrogé sur l'écart de voix le séparant du candidat Cellou Dalain Diallo, arrivé en tête au premier tour avec 39,72% des voix, M. Condé a déclaré: "vous savez que l?écart n?a aucune importance quand on sait la fraude généralisée".
