Of course, the same work-around can be handled with Kurzweil 1000. Yes, Ke4lam. I haven't been on QRZ in a while, but the last time I was on and wanted an email address, I did a work-around that seemed to work. The problem is that the email addresses are shown as images, not as text, so as to prevent spamming. If you have OpenBook, you can print the page that shows the image of the email address using Openbook's Freedom Import Printer. Hit control P for print, and tab over to where you can choose what printer to use. If you have OpenBook installed on your computer, Freedom Import Printer should show up. Choose that one. Openbook will then open up, take the image sent to it by your web browser, and convert it to text, including the image of the email address. There might be a better way, but that's what I did. Hope it helps. Catherine ----- Original Message ----- From: Harry Brown To: [log in to unmask] Sent: Wednesday, November 11, 2009 2:15 AM Subject: [VICUG-L] any blind hams out there! Hi all, Any blind hams on the list? If there are, are you able to use the qrz web site http://www.qrz.com If you can use the site, are you able to get email addresses of other hams on it after you have loged in? I cannot. I'm using jaws 10 on a gateway laptop, running windows xp pro.
