Haruna and Yero,
Oustass Mass Jah was the Arabic section principal
at Muslim High, and his son Dr. Abubakar Jah, a classmate at Muslim, when the
elder brother was the head boy. I liked Imam Jah's Friday prayer sermon. A giant
of a scholar, may his soul rest in peace, ameen.

Point
Yero,
I join Gainako and my family to offer my condolences on the passing of
the honourable Imam Mass Jah, my father, and my father's companion. My mother
was relaying the loss to me and our two families have been close for quite
some time now. Imam Jah was a teacher to some of my brothers at Muslim and he
was always approachable and ever genteel. His extraordinary humility betrays
his singular superlatives.
Adieu Hon. Jah. May Allah be with you.
May he afford the bereaved the requisite strength and fortitude to keep
the embers of your life-passions burning.
We love you.
