[Mr. Darboe further promised the gathering that he still strongly believe that the opposition can defeat President Jammeh through the ballot box.  He said it has never crossed his mind that he cannot defeat Jammeh and he added "If I have any reason that I no longer have a chance of defeating this man then I would leave politics."

Darboe further revealed that he has in fact decided to curtail his legal practice so he can fully concentrate on the 2011 elections. He said "I have decided to not take up some very lucrative legal cases because I believe they might hold me back in the next eighteen months. I therefore decided to not take up those cases."]

Mr. Fankung,

I am not defending Lawyer Darboe here. I am sure Darboe or the UDP supporters are more capable of doing that.

I think you refused to acknowledge some of the points Darboe scored in the news piece. With the above quote, I hope you start worrying which rat-hole Jammeh is going to be smoked in very soon. Remember how Saddam was met sleeping with frogs and termites underneath the ground...and it shows the level of cowardice of dictators everywhere. The problem with some of Jammeh's supporters are known. You will never see them condemn any of Jammeh's human rights violations. All you see them do, time and again, is just run counter headlines...talking about "white elephant" infrastructural projects. How on earth can we keep talking about these developments when basic human rights cannot be observed? Jammeh must respect the rights of citizens and stop acting the bully of his sick head. It looks like he is not learning anything. I hope and pray that God Almighty comes to peoples' help...that such a man of terror deserve not to rule people. If the ever living God is the al-seer, then I hope all those that suffered and others that continues to suffer under his terror activities...such a mighty sin will come to curse him. It is self-evident. To those that are in doubt, I say to you..wait! Because another turn is in the pipelines. That turn might be yours. I will not jubilate your turn, but I will sit here and remind you, just like others are getting their reminders daily.

With the embassy issue, I hold a different opinion with you.

"A word for the wise..".and you complete the remaining part of that old saying.

I still thank you for rejoining to the posting.

Hey Mr. Jallow,
Darbo is not being truthful to his supporters. What does he mean by he doesn't know. He knows. The reason is that those diplomats realize that the UDP does not have anything to offer. All they know is to come to the US, collect money and go back to their homes in Fajara and Pipeline. Darbo only reacted to all of what you guys consider "Jammeh's Wrong Dids"  when he came to the US.

Don't mind him
