It is interesting that Jabou is quantifying her accounts base on misconstrued perception. What is most people, who are most people? This is a political debate, and if you think that is divisive, then God help us. Your Obama took many steps and debated on many issues before reaching the black house. The issue is that, the current system and ways will never uproot Jammeh. Yes he is our main problem now, but how did he came our problem? If the highly educated PDOIS folks can't put up with on-line discussions based on unfounded claims of divisiveness and bigotry, then lets not even bother with the average street vendor. what do you get to tell him?
In as much as we need to concentrate on the main issues now, which is how to put up a stiff challenge to Jammeh and make the Gambia a better place, we too need to walk through our own phobias and be frank with each other. respect each other with different opinions and thoughts. the world is not going to end becus we discuss the Gambian opposition politicians. we need to discuss them. This will not give any advantage to Yaya and his tones of spices, but it will show that, our case for a better Gambia doesn't end with  him.
I salute Haruna for always standing up for the right to unbounded discussions. Keep that up. Haruna although we ain't finish yet with what Haruna hope to achieve!!

"What you should be focused on is how you can work with a tribalist at any point in his/her  ;tribal life if you share common citizenship. WHen you cannot work together, then you must prosecute your differences at war a la Sarajevo, Srebrenitza, Soweto, Hercegovina, Tamil, Miyanmar, Zimbabwe, SierraLeone, Biafra, Bissau, La Guinea, Bretagne, Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Ireland, Somalia, COngo, Burundi, Uganga, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, China, Australia, etcetera.
One advice I have for you Jabou is that there is no winner in tribal fracas and there is nothing to win or lose "

Haruna,
If what you  and Suntou have been engaged in is "working together," then your brand of working together must be different from what most people consider it to be.
I would say that I am glad you know about the potential repercussions of engaging in tribalism but a chief tribalist warning about20the possible repercussions of  tribalism is like the devil warning you about engaging in devlish acts. He knows the consequences but he will sacrifice heaven for hell anyway and suffer the consequences. The only problem is that unfortunately, he will also take a lot of others who foolishly fall for his trap down with him.
