The aflash utility will install the BIOS update (If you need it-check first) I see this patch as well, but I've never heard of it: "Microsoft KB817900 USB fail to enter S3 patch file for Windows XP " What OS are you installing? It's hard to do any harm-wrong drivers just won't install. Follow the directions for the BIOS Flash very carefully.
