<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Hi all, I have been trying for several weeks to determine the source of natural flavors in Zola drinks and the company has not gotten back to me via either email or phone. Please read the follow up email I sent regarding my phone call. They have not confirmed the source of their natural flavors to be gluten free. I will update the group if I hear anything else. To: [log in to unmask] Hi, I have an autoimmune disorder called Celiac Disease and as a result I am on a strict gluten free diet for life. I cannot have any wheat, rye, barley or oats, even in small amounts. Several weeks ago I contacted someone at your company regarding the source for your "natural flavors" in the juices (not the smoothies), and the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful but she did not know the answer and told me she would get back to me. I have not heard back since. According to the allergen labeling laws, "wheat" would have to be declared as a potential source in the natural flavorings, but the law does not apply to barley, rye or oats. Barley is the most likely of these three to be used in natural flavorings, so I was hoping to confirm whether or not any of the grains mentioned above are used in your natural flavorings. I promised to forward this information on to several of my large online groups for Celiac Disease, Gluten Intolerance and Wheat allergic people when I receive the answer. Thanks again in advance. I'm hoping to enjoy the juice that has been sitting in my frig.
