The condition of the average person to another is very similar. The similitude can be like a group in a boat. Sometimes everybody chip in to make the crossing smooth and quick. On other occasions, individuals have to look after their own self-interest, some manage it quiet comfortable whilst others struggle to maintain a balance.

Yet, the difference between the ones floating along nice and easy and the ones going tough is interestingly little. The tides in the seas is unpredictable, therefore the party thinking they are safe and steady can come against the fiercest waves upon waves in split seconds. The sudden and unfortunate turn of events creates new conditions, some comfortable whilst others distressful.

The journey in the boat is always full of hopes and fear. The fear that the boat may capsize or leak, is always a stack reminder. Panic and uncertainty may also cause people to fall victim to their own down falls. Life in essence can be like the loan journey man in the boat, sometimes the travel is easy and less stressful, and sometimes it is not.

What every boat traveller encounters is fear. Fear of many things, just like in every day endeavours. The act of sealing leakages in a boat whilst travelling can be a daunting task. Finding a suitable material to prevent the boat sinking can be difficult, yet, the journey must go on, the leakage must be stop. The balancing act is the crucial task every traveller must master.

However, maintaining good spirit and peace of mind in the midst of commotion and uncertainty is attainable by remembering the originator of everything. Keeping him in mind and being thankful and obedient makes every uncomfortable boat journey manageable.

Never think for second you are the only one facing difficult times. Countless others are going through worst. Just like being in a boat, you only know about yourself, in which case, you always felt that God may have forgotten about you in his bounties.  Like many things, no situation is dormant to change, expect the good and the not so good. Yet remain thankful and ethical. The journey is always a learning curve. God is always with you on every single one of them. Don’t stare at those who are well endowed with what you long for, “be careful what you wish”. May the Almighty make this life easy for us all and make us obedient servants.
