Hi April,
I am sorry to hear that David has balance problems.  I am praying for you both.

Hi Vicki,

You have been in my prayers.  Are you finally over the worst of the symptoms?  I now have a sore throat that I think may be caused by mhy swollen jaws.  They are swollen because of some meds I take, but when I told the doctor about it, he didn't seem to want to look in to it.  I was crowding his time.

Please remember David in your prayers.  He is experiencing balance issues not related to inner ear or his vision.  Well, he will confirm the vision thing on Tuesday, but the inner ear issue has been discussed many times before.  Anyway, it is strange because he'll stand up and grab on to me as if he is going to fall.  So I don't know what to do for him.

His sister aIrene has moved in with us.  She is 86 and will soon be 87 on May 3.  The is very lucid and loves to talk of her youth and her life at church camp and her work for many years as a Sunday school teacher.  She, the eldest, is now living with the youngest sibling.  We get along extfremely well.  I do sometimes worry though with my working who will help whom if somebody falls with Dave's balance as it is.

Well, take care all.  I'm reading the mail.

Subject: Prayer Please

Most of you know all the voice issues I went through several years ago.  From time to time of late I have had the almost laryngitis re-occur.  But I pretty much know what to do and could manage it.  I've had extra demands on my voice this last little while.  But Friday morning I woke up feeling as if my throat had gotten very dry during the night.  As I more fully awakened, my throat felt like it had a lump in it, somewhat the sensation like when you've had a bad cold and are dealing with a surplus of mucous.  I can't say my throat was sore like a say throat gets.  It was more like I had severely scratched the inside with something.  When I swallowed I had to be careful when eating because the muscle felt weak and I didn't know if food was going to go down.  I could give you more detail but I don't want to go on and on.  Anyway, I had very little voice.  I went to work and had to leave.  I have an appointment with the voice doc on Tuesday.  I'm debating if I should be seen before that however.  I can't say there is much improvement today.  I can talk if I'm careful and don't raise my voice.  Prayers would be very much appreciated.
