You know how the US Postal Service is crying about low demand for stamps and mail supplies due to the proliferation of emails and the CEO financial improprieties that brought on the near-collapse of the global financial systems. The postal service informed us they may have to curb mail delivery to 5 days instead of the 6 they do now. I was at the post office today and I asked them if they had Obama stamps YET. Well they told me they hadn't thought of that yet.

I know there is a certain protocol for printing stamps of important cultural and historical icons of the US. What better life cultural and historical icon than President Obama. I encourage the Postal service to print President Obama stamps and advertise them on newspapers throughout America and the world newspapers. Its a one-two punch. The struggling newspapers who are also considering cuts along those lines (your loved ones will have to pass on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays if you want to publicise their obituaries in time), can benefit from the ad revenue of the postal service while the post office realises mass return to snail mail from emails. I know I will jet the emails for such a cause. Wait a minute, what about the trees saved by emailing? Ok forget about this idea.

Thanks for listening though. I gotta think of som'n else for the postal service. Ok what about using President Obama's image in meter-stamps? I'm still thinking. Haruna.
