Those pop-ups are the result of you being hit by the AntiVirus 2009 trojan. We got hit with the AntiVirus 2009, AntiSpyware 2009 and the VirtuMonde trojans all at once on Dec. 27. There are plenty of sites to see, if you Google for the trojan names, but it involves messing in the registry, which I'm not comfortable with. See which solution seems most do-able to you, I guess. We had a DELL technician clean them out of our infected computer. It took almost 4 hours of software manipulation. A very nasty side effect to the trojans, even after removal, is a horribly sluggish system to the point of being intolerable. We're going to add RAM (from 1 G to 4) and see if that speeds things up. It ran fine on 1 Gig RAM before the trojans hit.
