Haruna,]

Yeah Evian, you alright?

[This kind of advice is not appropriate in the prevailing climate of home foreclosures and economic recession within US of A and Western Europe.] Evian.

1. A prevailing climate of home foreclosures, recession, depression, and idiocy in US and Western Europe does not mean life stops in Australia, Asia, the Pacific Isles, Africa, Arabia, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, South America, Canada, Iceland, and the Caucasus mountains.

2. When there is rampant foreclosure, it means others can buy the same house for much less than the idiot was gonna pay for it.

3. The advice is for those who want to make do with what they have instead of venture in unreasonable wildcatting. What is wrong with yew Evian????

[Imagine advising an Alaskan about playing cricket in the snow.] Evian.

What about advising an Alaskan how to weatherize the igloo????? or how to be energy independent by relacing all gasoline vehicles with snow-mobiles. You gave the wrong analogy my brother. And you said you loved me.

[It won't work.] Evian.

You damn right it won't work. You'd be lucky the Alaskan doesn't tie you up for being a friggin foreigner.

[As for your compatriots living in the Gambia, we are mostly concerned with bellly-filling.] Evian.

Last time you shared this anxiety with us, your advice was for them to hoard fish instead of eat it. You killin me Evian. And there is a totally different advice for tommy-fillin and circumstance. Yahya asked you to go back to the farm. You refused. ATT encouraged you to try feeding yourself. You told him there are no jobs on the farms. The spanish start a farm in Senegal, the lines were 2 miles long. They thought the Spaniards were issuing visas. New Gambians.

[Home improvement? No!Tummy improvement? Yes. Welcome to Earth from Pluto.] Evian.

Forget Pluto. If you're not careful, you'll drown in a well near you. I got to see the movie W. I recommend it for comic relief. One movie everyone must see though is "A death at a funeral". Hilarious. Evian, are you serious you don't wanna hear the home-improvement advice?? Remember even if you had to make room in your home for a homeless person, I think it is worth considering. Just ask Laye. However, if you feel so strongly about the inutility of the advice, I will abandon it until we hear from Suntou, Moribolong, Jados, PPG, Quicksilver, Kukeh, Galleh, JDAM, Sidibeh, Ceesay, Sey, Jaybarteh, Hous, Gunjur, Juan Carlos Del Sol, Laye, The African Child, Jatta-Njie, or Yanks one way or the other. You just snuffed the excitement outta me. Thanx for nothing Evian.

Problem Identification. The family is growing rapidly and we need to create more room especially for our two teenagers who want their independence but don't think its a good idea to move out yet on account of the wall street bailout. Solution options. 1. We could enclose the carport to make 2 rooms out of it. However, they will still be using the common bathroom in the hallway unless we create another bathroom next to the laundry for them. The cost of enclosing the carport and creating a new bathroom is: Mason (time & material) - $1,300.00Framer/Carpenter (T&M including 2 windows and an exterior door) - $1,600.00Plumber (T&M) - $1,500.00Trim, sheetrock, greenboard, paint - $800.00Flooring (T&M to include wood decking and laminate tongue and groove and ceramic tile in bathrm) - $800.00 Plus I'm not too comfortable giving them the freedom to come and go as they please. At least not until they are 18 if they are still here by then. Lenki remmu, you gotta get them focused on value-life. 2. We could clean out the storage stuff from the basement, build shelving in the carport for storage, expand the half-bath in the basement into a full bath, and transform the space into a bedroom and small study area and a kitchenette. The cost of this option is: Carpenter/Framer - (T&M including 2 windows and an awning at the renovated exterior door) - $800.00Plumber (T&M to include a 4x6 fiberglass shower) - $700.00Trim, greenboard, sheetrock, paint - $800.00Flooring (T&M to include carpet and ceramic tile in bathrm) - $600.00 3. The third option of adding to the footprint of the house was eliminated for cost, insurance, permitting, and other reasons. We settled on option #2. When we meet next time, I will share with you the result of my survey of the structural elements and the existing configuration of this basement storage area and how we set about re-configuring the space. Evian, I want you to focus. You can do this even if you don't have a ranch and it can be done anywhere on earth. See you men. Haruna. Laye and Suntou, I want you to follow too. Ask me questions along the way if anything is not clear. I will begin with an indemnification clause in the event you wanna do anything in the advice without full knowledge of it. Fuck around and key yourseyf.MQJGDT. Darbo. Al Mu'Umin.
