Title: Assistive Technology Instructor
Employment Status: Part -Time
Description of Role Tasks:
• Accept
assignments as offered by the Director of Training, whether on-site, location
for extended periods, residential week-long or students with multiple
issues in learning
• Required
mastery knowledge of AT applications, and equipment, identifying specific areas
of specialization as these relate to computer technology and employment
goals
• Participate
in In-Service training and development sessions; to be familiar with changes in
AT as these relate to special interest areas; register to do beta testing in
specialty area
• Stay
current with discovery areas in learning and training techniques, assessment
procedures and outcome evaluation
• Provide
full support to the Director of Training in the implementation of the
range of duties required to continue the effective operation of the Department
for all staff and students
• Prepare
and present all reports, time sheets and expense forms in a timely fashion,
properly formatted and in fully presentable
