The summary is that almost all who replied love these donuts and are devoted fans. There is overwhelming enthusiasm for these donuts. Opinions were split on which flavors were best, with chocolate and cinnamon perhaps coming out slightly ahead. Most people recommended microwaving them briefly (10 seconds.) Other notes: One person reported that they are 1/2 the size of a regular donut They should be kept in the freezer and then warmed up for a few seconds in the microwave They can be considered heavy, sweet and sticky, poundcake-like, like a cake donut. Some people eat them with tea, some with coffee The price and calorie count are high, but with a very few exceptions the 70 people thought the donuts were worth it Hy-vee stores sometimes stock them, health food stores sometime stock them One person wondered why Whole Foods doesn't stock these products Other products by Kinnikinnick were also recommended by folks: NY bagels in plain and sesame, cinnamon rolls, pizza crust, hot dog/hamburger rolls, waffles, crumbs, carrot and blueberry muffins, sunflower/flax bread - all of these got comments along with the donuts For their rolls, keep the rolls frozen, microwave 30 sec., toast in toaster until browned. On the whole, folks love the Kinnikinnick donuts and other products.
