You can boot from your WINXP disk and go to the Recovery Console. Once at
that point, run the command FIXMBR. That should repair your MBR and get you
going again. Another repair procedure that may also be needed is FIXBOOT.
These should be used only when you can't boot, which is the case in your
situation.
