A friend of mine has been having trouble bringing up his ATT web browser. (He has ATT DSL.) His work-around has been to shut down and restart his computer, which then usually allows him to bring up the browser. (He says that sometimes he has to do this two or three times.) He says that he does not have trouble bringing up Internet Explorer, but he is familiar with with the ATT browser, which also contains his bookmarks, so he prefers to stick with it. I believe he is running XP. Any suggestions? Dean Kukral ===================================== I don't know if any of this will help you or not, but I used to have that trouble as well. I always called ATT and they walked me through the process. I had to go to the Control Panel, click on Add & Remove Programs, and in the Add & Remove Program, Click Remove, then on the next page that comes up, click on AT&T Yahoo Applications. This will take you to another window, -- select Yahoo Browser to remove. or ever how that is worded. It will uninstall only that. Shut down and get back on and open Explorer, and in the address bar, type in hhtp://ATT.software.yahoo.com/getbrowser, then click enter. This should take you to a page to reinstall your browser. NOW ---- if that does not do it -- then try this. .... type in the address bar, hhtp://ATT.software.yahoo.com. That should take you to a page that will let you re-install your browser (by choosing what you need on that page.) Of course, now if you have a firewall and an anti-virus already on your system, uncheck those before you download your browser, as you only want that. They have a number to call if you have problems, but don't know if these numbers are the same or not. 1-877-722-3755. But this is the number that was on my packaged CD. Hope some of this helps.
