The situation at hand now is that they are going to place him in a nursing home because he is just too weak right now to function, ambulate, do self care, etc. This will be temporary but he sees it as a set back. Please pray. The Lord has brought him a long ways thus far and I am waiting for the chance to talk to him about the Lord.

After our grandson's birthday party in August, Alan had gotten in his car and was fixing to pull out of the driveway. he saw Gretchen and I come out the door. he got out of his car, came back and said "Sandy, I just wanted to say hi, there were so many people in the house that I didn't see you." That has always been very special to me so I am waiting for the right opportunity this time to minister to him. Please pray.

I sure do appreciate your prayers all along as do Donna and her family.

  Sandy
