Here is the summary of traveling Gluten-free in Germany:

You may get some gluten-free items at the health store (Reformhaus in 
German).  Another place is called Apothcary and they sometimes have items.

Take food on the airplane. One person had problems with Delta. Another had 
good luck with KLM, SAS & United.

Eat in supermarkets. The food is fantastic, as well as being cheaper. In 
Europe they don't use the pesticides like we do here.
