Butch, Just did mine last month via the FCC site. Not too difficult with jaws. Since I didn't have a frn number, I had to get that first. So there were 3 basic steps: first get the frn, next renew the license, finally pay via credit card. The 8 bucks service fee charged by W5YI and others is no big deal, but since you need to submit your ss number to get the frn, I really didn't want to give my ss number to some third party so they could pass it on to the FCC, when I could give it direct to the FCC myself. 73, Steve KW3A ----- Original Message ----- From: "Butch Bussen" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 4:34 PM Subject: license renewal > It is about time to renew my license.
