Anthony, His question concerned accessibility. In terms of the 480, it is a bit more accessible as mike level, power output all talk in the 480 which in the 2000 they are just beeps. The 480 si therefore a bit more accessible, as accessible as a rig can get actually. TS2000 Hi Eric; If you had a TS570 then, the TS2000 is not much different. The only difference is that you will have vhf and uhf capabilities in one radio. However, the major difference I found between both radios is that the transmit audio on the 480 does not have that Kenwood signature foot print. Also, the micas are wired a little different so that if you try to use an MC60A or something similar, the results will not be what you want. If I had to use a 480, I would use a 570 so, if you go with the 2000 you'll be fine. 73 De Anthony W2AJV [log in to unmask] ECHOLINK NODE NUMBER: 74389 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric Clegg" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, September 28, 2007 6:28 PM Subject: TS480 Vs.
