Hi; I tried the butternut mini-beam a number of years ago and wasn't very satisfied. I used an older version called the miniquad which is now made in Canada and as long as there were no mechanical problems I was quite satisfied considering the size of the antenna. It has been somewhat redesigned and supposedly the mechanical issues have been resolved.
