The deeper I allow your love to touch the wounded condition of my heart, the intense struggle I have within begins to subside.
This brand new awareness of the authentic love you possess,
allows relief of internal shame caused by an abusive past.

Since, I have permitted myself to trust you, I am able to feel your protective embrace inside my spirit.
Now, when I face life’s day to day challenges,
I will find refuge in my God that dwells within the true center of my heart.

As you have continually held out your arms open wide in order to receive me.
I realize you indeed accept all of who I have been, all of who I am, and all of who I will become.

God’s deep love has been revealed through your heart.
Oh, what joy I have discovered in the amazing truth,
that there is absolutely no devotion sweeter,
than God’s love flowing through a surrendered soul.
