<<Disclaimer: Verify this information before applying it to your situation.>> Dear Listserve, Once again you've come to my rescue! I have already received a number of replies and everyone concurs that Scotland is a very easy place to find gluten-free food and restaurants. Several people mentioned that Tesco and Sainsbury supermarkets are everywhere and have large selections of gluten-free products. I have also visited the web site for U.K. Coeliac Society (www.coeliac.co.uk) and they list a number of gluten-free friendly restaurants in Glasgow and throughout the country. It seems that many more people have heard of celiac disease in Scotland than here. Of course the language is not a problem either. All in all, I think my son will have a wonderful experience in Scotland. I will post other comments as they come in. Thank you again. You are the best.
