Hi Sierra:

This past February, we cruised on the Norwegian Dawn. I, too, had been in touch with the cruise line and was sent the same list as you received. I made my selections and returned the list to the Ship Coordinator Department. I was expecting that all my choices would be available to me but that wasn't the case. I had gluten free bread each day (Food for Life). It wasn't until the end of the cruise that a maitre'd told me that gluten free English Muffins were available. Rice noodles were available as well which I had in the Pan Asian and Teppenyaki restaurants. Bring your own gluten free soy sauce and the chef will gladly use it for your dishes. Nonetheless, I had a fabulous cruise and outstanding treatment and meals. You absolutely must try the Chocolate Fondue dessert in Le Bistro! I was treated so well that we are booked on the Norwegian Gem for next January.

We had a wonderful time and cruising is an easy and safe way for Celiacs to travel.
  Enjoy your trip!
  Andrea NY
