Hi Lorraine, Yes, you should keep these. They are reference points for the updates that you have gotten from microsoft. If you remove them, you will be undoing various OS patches and security fixes. Also, done incorrectly or in the wrong order could corrupt your system. If you simply prefer not to see them in the add/remove programs list, simply uncheck the box near the top labeled "Show Updates".
