TO PODCAST OR NOT TO PODCAST; THAT IS THE QUESTION!

If the indecisive Hamlet were with us, he would be in a minority of people uncertain about Podcasting.  Whether it is a good idea or not, everyone and many schools and colleges are rushing Podcasts online hoping to capitalize on its popularity.

EASI (Equal Access to Software and Information) is producing 2 live, interactive Web conferences on the topic.
July 27 at 2 PM Eastern is a free, 1-hour Web conference using voice chat and text chat while also pushing Web pages to support the presentation.  This first Web conference is for people who don't know what Podcasts are or why they might want to know about them.

In September, EASI will produce a fee-based series of 4 1-hour presentations spread over a month:
This series on podcasting will take you through the process of creating a podcast and publishing it to the Web. The dates for the 4 part series are:
September 12, 19, 26 and Oct. 3, all at 12 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
It will cover topics such as how to make both Podcasts and Vodcasts accessible to users with disabilities.  It will discuss how to produce this multimedia and how to actually create a Podcast feed and how to put the Podcasts or Vodcasts online.
