Hi Kevin, The Net is at 9:00 PM EST which is 02:00 AM UTC. I am not familiar with the South African Time Zone, but if it is indeed 2 hours ahead of UTC then it would be at 04:00 AM Local South African time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Kwan" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 1:32 PM Subject: Re: a reminder about the hams with disabilities net tomorrow on the IRLP Possibly this might have been previously addressed. At the risk of being repetitive, well off the top of my head I remembered south Africa was mostly 7 hours ahead of eastern time. The easy thing for you to remember is that you're 2 hours ahead of utc. Then in spring you'll be three hours ahead of utc. Hope this helps. Incidentally I believe that net you're asking about refers to central time. If that is so, than that's an hour behind eastern time. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kallie Swanepoel" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 11:21 AM Subject: Re: a reminder about the hams with disabilities net tomorrow on the IRLP Do you know what time it would be for us here in South Africa? 73 Kallie ZS6KCS -----Original Message----- From: For blind ham radio operators [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Kris Hickerson Sent: 31-01-2006 03:10 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: a reminder about the hams with disabilities net tomorrow on the IRLP Hi Fred, If you can get into the Greenville repeater 147.165, we have an IRLP link up there. I'm sure there are some in St. Louis itself, but I don't know what the frequencies would be since I'm so close to Greenville, that's the one I always use. 73 Kris WB9SLM
