To me a Remington is a chain saw I bought almost 30 years ago from Agway (and a brand long since discontinued) and a Benelli is a fancy mini bike (really a mini motorcycle) sold back about the same time.
 
I guess that's what you call horizontally integrated (or diversified) manufacturing.
