Cynthia,

Yes, Jammeh giving D1million is not only unethical but outright criminal, for the simple reason that Jammeh cannot afford it. This man is stealing the Gambian people's money to give to these players. I must emphasize that i am totally behind the scorpions and infact have gone at lenght together with DC soccer team players to organize a fundraising dance for the team, the big difference however, is that the money raised was not robbed from the poor starving people, rather it was honestly earned.

>I asked this question because I got an email from someone saying that some people paraphrasing a bit 1) think it was unethical of me to allow Ebou to spend stolen money on me when I know that people are starving in Gambia although it never occurred to people that if I’m at a conference everything I spend is completely reimbursable, therefore, I don’t need money form Ebou or anyone else.  2) I’m curious to know why people automatically think that when a woman meets a man they are willing to believe the worst?  3) The only reason why I didn’t defend my so called integrity as this person said is because the reason I got involved with this whole silly and petty situation was because Joe felt like his integrity was on the line by Ebou’s statement although he and many others have said repeatedly that Ebou is a liar, yet people still believe him.  I don't understand this. However, when Ebou insinuated that we slept together, Joe knew it was going to be a blood bath, and yet he was going to

>Having said all of this, I again ask, if you guys agree that Jammeh stole this money and were willing to condemn me because you thought Ebou may have spent at most $100 on wining and dining me, does Jammeh have a right to give stolen money to the Baby Scorpions?
