Hay thanks for your support, being blind is far from teh end of the world and if I'm still of use here then whatever goes, I don't mind. I do have trouble too but blindness isn't going to tie me down at all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cindy H" <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 11:07 AM Subject: Re: spiritual abuse --0-204956152-1120241233=:33890 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit You know, I love what you say here..how you disagree with everyone talking about your life being sad and pitiful. The way I see it, if that is how you feel, and you are fine with what God's plan is for you, then there is nothing to be healed from..is there?? I mean, with that attitude, arn't you bringing Glory to God and singing His praises? cindy Kerri <[log in to unmask]> wrote: Vinny that was well said and a thorough sumation of the way I feel too. One question is why do some think it's absolutely necessary to be physically healed? I've heard it all my life about how sad and pitiful my life is this way. I disagree. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vinny Samarco" To: Sent: Friday, July 01, 2005 10:35 AM Subject: Re: spiritual abuse Hi Everyone, I absolutely believe in the phenominon ofspiritual abuse. I have seen lots of it in many areas. I don't know that I want to share my story, because it opens up a big can of worms. However, God told me I had to forgive those preachers which were thinking they could heal me, in order to put another notch in their gun belt, so-to-speak. The major problem with all this, is that the devil has been trying to work overtime in our lives against any belief in healing. Let's look at this strictly from a logical point of view. 1. Jesus healed blindness and many other disabilities. 2. He told his disciples to heal the sick, raise the dead etc. 3. He told his disciples that they would even do greater works than he did. Now here is the questions we all must answer. Where is it in the bible that Jesus said that all healing and signs and wonders, and gifts of the spirit would cease after the book of Acts and the early church? Well, there is no such scripture. That doctrine is a doctrine of man and of devils. Therefore, everyone, inspite at the abuse we have all suffered under the hands of well-meaning, and not-so-well-meaning preachers, yet, healing and everything else God promised in His word, is for today. The Devill has used all this garbage we have gone through, to discourage us into believing that there is no healing or baptism in the spirit, or anything else. Now, though I believe in healing, I believ contrary to the healing preachers, for the Lord heals, not the preachers. So I prefer to leave it in the Lord's hands, and in his timing. Nevertheless, know that God is greater than our experiences, whether they be bad or good. And we can trust our Lord to do what he purposes to do in our lives, no matter what the doctrines of man might be.
