I don't have the time to read the article

But I will tell you that none of my cats are finicky eaters

They all love to eat

I give them a wide variety of food, including chopped raw vegetables

They eat everything

The only time there is a problem with appetite, is if someone is sick
or getting sick.

Female cats in-heat, also SOMETIMES have a much reduced appetite

They don't like very very fatty chicken/chicken soup - that is a
different thing, because it is health related;  cooked fat is a
carcinogen, they must know that......  So I take off the skin and fat
before cooking
