Hi -- My site is devoted to shopping and eating casein-free. It even includes a sample of casein-free menus to help people new at milk allergy to get started. As for what and how casein does to our bodies ... that really depends upon your individual body. An allergy triggers one set of reactions, lactose intolerance triggers a different set of reactions, and it's not clear that other reactions have been well studied yet. My web site links to a few scientific and medical web sites, but you may find the links from Don Wiss' "no milk" web site to be more useful. (It's linked from my site, too.) I hope this information is helpful, --Beth Kevles [log in to unmask] http://web.mit.edu/kevles/www/nomilk.html -- a page for the milk-allergic Disclaimer: Nothing in this message should be construed as medical advice.
