From your input, it sounds most like an overheating (CPU) or power supply problem. If the CPU has a fan, make sure it is connected to power. Or the new power supply could be bad from the get go. Other than that, the MB might have a problem (shorted out, bad, etc.). Also, if you removed or disturbed other components, particularly RAM, make sure they are seated properly and any fans are connected to power. Hope this helps.
