Hi All....

I have an Athlon system that had a 10G C: and a 13G D: (both nearly full)
running Win2k. Finally dedided to bite the bullet and upgrade to XP. So, I
bought a 40G, installed it as the new C:, and did a fresh install. So far,
so good. But I wound up with 2 "issues"....

1. I tried to migrate the old programs/files/settings to my new C: by using
the XP Files and Settings transfer wizard by designating my old c: (now
hooked up as the slave D:) as the "old" machine. No dice.... It cranked
away for a while, but didn't transfer a thing. Also tried it on my old D:,
since I had been installing new programs there once my C: filled up. Again,
nada.

Is anybody aware of any utilities that would accomplish this task w/o having
to reinstall everything??

2. I tried to import my messages into Outlook Express; found 2 locations
where the .dbx files are; one on old C and one on old D. Both dated the
same.... 8/29/04. Tried to import from both locations, and had the same
result, that being, lots of old messages imported, but the messages ended at
May *02*; nothing more recent. Anybody have any clue as to why this is
happening?? I obviously need my email from the last 2 years, and if all
else fails, could hook up my old C as C with Win2k and try to export then
import.... But thought I'd ask you guys first.

Any help on either of these problems would be**greatly** appreciated !! ;^)

Thanks!!!
